Creating calm from the chaos. Reflecting in the space between notes and thoughts. I grew up studying classical piano, and although I've been in the pop/rock world for the past 15 years (my solo band Mike Maimone and my rock trio Mutts), I've always kept playing classical music. In 2020 I started composing original pieces as a way to cope with things in my personal life and in the world in general. So I felt it was time to start releasing this music, and hopefully it will help others find some calm in the chaos. "John" and "Rocco" are my middle name and my confirmation name.
