Mathieu Najean is a French jazz saxophonist. He began music by learning classical bassoon in Angoulême, where he grew up. At the same time, he began jazz, a few years later on the tenor and soprano saxophone. He studied jazz saxophone at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Mathieu Najean has played, arranged and composed in various jazz bands in Belgium : Reverent Juke, The Morning Call Jazz Band, Juke Records Big Band, Sounds Swing Machine...
