Hailing from Guatemala, Carlos Ortega aka ALÜEN has a musical foundation to share. As an adolescent, he learned to play the drums while listening to rock, metal, hip-hop, rap, and the one with which he felt the most connection, electronic music. Machine sounds from outside the mainstream consumed him - sounds that could make us dance for hours. This interest cultivated in bars and clubs, and his inspiration flowed strong.
