RICK POTTER is a musician/singer/songwriter from Catlettsburg in Eastern Kentucky. He was raised in a very musical family, developing a taste for bluegrass from his grandfather and classic country from his dad. Rick was 15 years old before he began to learn how to play guitar. Around 1995, he started a five year stint playing mandolin in a bluegrass band. Rick played at the very first RudyFest Bluegrass Festival as well as many other festivals.
