Pondlife channel the harder side of 90s indie, shoegaze and lofi whilst also bringing an easy slackness and attention to songcraft that means their music never loses a sense of fun. A four-piece of old friends and family, the band have been refining their sound and performing across London in 2025, gaining a dedicated following. 2026 will see the release of the Cello ep, produced by Louis Mlburn (Folly Group) and mastered by Felix Davis (Metropolis), with the title track’s play between sweetness and heaviness showing their range and ambition as songwriters.
