Alex (b. 1989) is a British Neoclassical composer who composes under the name Bistrot of art, inspired by travels in the Middle East, Scandi and his time studying French art history. He started playing piano at age 16 and wrote his first compositions shortly afterwards. He had a creative spell while living in Dubai for work, and released several pieces influenced by the Arabian starlit night sky. He takes breaks from composing, sometimes for years at a time, to draw deep inspiration and focus on other things but he always comes back refreshed with something new.
