Isabell Gustafsson-Ny (b. 1990) is a Swedish jazz pianist and composer, born in Gagnef, now based in Stockholm. In april 2020 her new album Rotsystem is released. Rotsystem is music, but also art and text without sounds. It features playful shifts in settings and is a result of researching intersections between genres, artistry and expression. The album explores the importance of home – places and roots anchoring us to the ground, history and further in to each other.
