Nigel H. Seymour wrote his first song at age 12 and began his recording journey as a boy soprano at 11. By 17, he recorded two songs with the band ‘Tractor’ using a tape machine loaned by John Peel. After attending the Royal Academy of Music for singing, Nigel pursued a career as a baritone, highlighted by performing as an understudy in Carmina Burana with Sir Neville Marriner. A chance meeting with Martin Barre of Jethro Tull led to a series of influential recordings.
