The Elohim

The Elohim is the production team of Bless 1 (Chicago, IL) and Castro (Lawrence, MA). During the 2020 pandemic the two began sending music ideas to each other to build from. From these ideas 7 beats were selected to form an album. On their debut album, Sharp Metal Objects, the duo delivers gritty, sample-based melodies and eerie sound palettes layered over hard, crunchy drums. Drawing inspiration from legends Madlib and RZA to contemporaries such as Griselda Records, The Elohim have provided beat lovers with a jewel of an introduction.
