Taking notes from the long time punk rock hero Johnny Thunders, and the idea that attitude and the raw truth, is all one ever needs. Drawn to vocalists like Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, and Julian Casablancas, and equally inspired by the blues, Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker, Doyle Bramhall II, and the Black Keys, Charlie wrote and recorded demos for a bunch of songs, during the lockdown, on Kaurna land, SA, that became the debut EP “Come from the Snow”.
