The western hills of North Carolina echoes through the twangy, southern style of Brad Howard. He grew up in the small town of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. His dad was a fan of artists like Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, and Don Williams, which led Brad to listening to country radio on a regular basis. But it wasn't until he heard George Strait that he realized country music was his passion. At eighteen he joined the Air Force and had to put his pursuit of music on hold for a few years.
