Glasgow-based Lo Rays makes modern electro-rock, made up of glitchy synths, pop hooks and metal riffs. In 2023 Lo Rays released a self-produced concept EP Algorithm Gods, set in a post-apocalyptic dystopia, where a tech corporation CONNECTICA controls the masses. The songs link together to tell a story of a conditioned mind that wakes up and rises against the system. Algorithm Gods received radio play on BBC Introducing Rock on Radio 1, and was featured on the Scottish Daily Mail. In 2023 Lo Rays played their biggest shows to date supporting VUKOVI.
