Timbiraçu is a musical group from São Paulo, Brazil, inspired by the culture and music of the southern African countries like Angola, Congo, Moçambique, Zimbabwe as well as brazilian afro and indigenous music. The group mixes this influences with funk, jazz and caribean rhythms, exploring the cultural conections between african and american continents with all of their roots and hybridisms.
