Frozen Plums makes art pop, from the Arctic city of Tromsø. Lead by songwriter and vocalist Adelheid Kjærstad, they create music inspired by contrasts; between harmony and chaos, electronic and organic, intimate and epic. Frozen Plums was created for Adelheid to be able to sing about anything, from her darkest thoughts to her brightest flickers of hope. The band´s music is a tribute to all things peculiar and strange, melancholy, vulnerability, love and hope. The music follows only one rule: everything is allowed as long as it conveys something true.
