I grew up being an adventurous bush kid. Mum often brought me into town to see her practise with her brothers. They played ol timey covers that hold dear to me very deeply still. Sneaking a rumble on uncles drum kit was indulgence with a hint of mischief, the makings of a deep connection to sound. Music is an atmosphere anyone can experience, anyway they want it. Music was to become the place where dreams came to life for me.
