Unabashed rock’n’roll—that’s the new Babylon the Beach, at least according to Bob, the recording engineer behind the band’s second album at Famous Gold Watch Studio in Berlin. The upcoming album’s title, “13:13”, reflects both its total playtime and the band’s initials, with a nod to the omnipresent 13:12 graffiti in the streets of Berlin. It’s a raw, fierce, and oddly danceable return to their garage rock and blues-punk roots.
