The Modern Kind are a 5-piece indie-rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, formed in 2011 by Andrew ‘Drew’ Blackett and Ian Duncan. Lead guitarist Conor Allan and bass player Callum ‘Meechs’ Meechan joined the band in 2022 followed by rhythm guitarist Connor ‘CJ’ Jamieson in 2023, following the departure of former lead guitarist Duncan Glasgow.
