When Deanna Sorenson went through a particularly bad breakup, it inspired her to finally pick up a guitar and start writing what would eventually become the debut album Deserter. It wasn't until she met multi-instrumentalist Brandon Wohlford Mason four years later, that Cave Radio began to take shape. Armored with his vast music experience, home studio, and skill, he would help them find drummer and producer, Colette J.
