I picked up my first guitar at age 11, practicing simple tunes and chord changes on a cheap acoustic-electric-pawn-shop guitar. Overwhelmed, I almost gave up, but kept playing and learning, writing my first songs within a few years. My first 2 years of college I immersed myself in sonic exploration, fueled by the discovery of Radiohead and aided by the convenience of GarageBand.
