Born in 1988 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido and raised in Sapporo, Japan. When he was 10 years old, his parents bought him Queen's "Greatest Hits" and he was struck by it and started down the path of a music geek. He admired Brian May and started playing guitar at the age of 14, but the first string broke before he could play F chord. He didn't know how to change it, so he quit playing. At the age of 18, he picked up the guitar again, but switched to drums because there was no drummer in the band he started with his musical friends.
