Bass Thomas Stimmel, who was born in Munich, studied at Munich University of Music and Performing Arts while simultaneously taking the musical theatre/opera singing programme at the August Everding Theatre Academy. In addition, he studied at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin. Thomas Stimmel made his operatic debut at the Prince Regent Theatre in Munich in Puccini’s La bohème under the musical direction of Ulf Schirmer.
