Sobre Night School
Night School is Will Packer and Jimmy Zenger. The project was born in the two educators’ Harlem apartment in 2015. Their 2017 debut album, Straight Through the Night, on which they are joined by Chris Mastrocola on drums and percussion and Manjula Raman on vocals and keyboards, was inspired by the progressive bands of the 1970’s and 80’s and the limitless potential of electronic music. Their second album, Imago, released in 2021, is the culmination of three years of on-and-off work exploring Afro-Latin rhythms, contemporary electronic instrumentation, and European classical forms.
