Kafka Escobar first became interested in music at the age of 7 when he first began learning to play guitar. Throughout his formative years, he would play in bands and at small performances around the lower Hudson Valley in New York. After relocating to Utah in 2015, he decided to take home production and songwriting more seriously. Going through several bands and musical personas, he finally settled on Kafka Escobar as the name he would release music under in 2019. His first three singles were released in the Spring of 2020 and his first EP "Lunar Lighthouse" was released on December 11, 2020.
