Born and raised in Sacramento County, California, GridLock developed a passion for music at an early age. Fascinated by the beautiful sound of his grandfather’s concert piano, GridLock gained respect for the sound of music and the power of creation. Forward to 2004, GridLock was introduced to Image-Line’s FL Studio 6 through his fellow classmate and producer Daniel Cruz and together they began to learn the tricks to the program in order to create beats.
