Listening to Karvel's particular brand of rock makes you feel like there's sand between your teeth. Don't worry, that's by design. Its music scrapes, screeches, but also soothes. No singular voice, but a plethora of different flavours, all sharing a dark gritty undertone. Karvel consists of Pelle Kuipers (vocals/guitar) and Yoeran Luteijn (drums). A sharp ear can hear influences from: Queens of the Stone Age, Muse, Alice in Chains, Karnivool, Soundgarden.
