Under the name Dalton, singer/songwriter Nate Harar creates sincere, subtly eclectic indie rock that features rough instrumentation and hazy production, but is emotionally direct. Originally from Washington, D.C., Harar moved to Brooklyn and gigged around New York City as part of the band Sugar It's Eli. After the group's breakup in the early 2010s, Harar began the solo project Dalton. In 2012 Dalton released a self-titled EP that attracted attention from several music blogs.
