Germany's Wareika are an adventurous, genre-bending electronic trio who combine techno with forays into dub, jazz, and avant-garde soundscapes. Emerging around 2008, the trio issued a handful of singles before grabbing audiences with 2010's Harmonie Park. Formed in Hamburg in 2007, Wareika features the talents of Jakob Seidensticker (DJ, computer production, drum-machine sequencing, mixing), Florian Schirmacher (vocals, synthesizer, percussion) and Henrik Raabe (guitar, synthesizer, percussion).
