Sobre Jeff Tyzik
Jeff Tyzik – born Jeff Tkazyik in Hyde Park New York on August 1, 1951, is a trumpeter, conducter, composer, and arranger. At the age of 9, he started playing cornet but switched to trumpet two years later. He earned two degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York: Bachelor of Music (1973) and Master of Music (1977). He met flugelhornist Chuck Mangione’s band as lead trumpeter and co-producer from 1973 to 1980, appearing on four of Mangione’s albums. Tyzik’s first solo album, Farthest Corner of My Mind, was released in 1979. It was followed by the albums Prophecy (1980) ...
