His film scores, some of them for major Hollywood features, are mostly created collaboratively with his brother Sacha Galperine. Evgueni Galperine was born in 1974 in Chelyabinsk, Russia, then part of the Soviet Union. His father, Youli Galperine, was a film composer of Ukrainian background, and the family moved to Kyiv when Evgueni was a child.
