British pianist Christian Blackshaw attended the King's School, Macclesfield, and pursued further studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with Gordon Green. He later studied with Moisei Halfin at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and also worked with Clifford Curzon.
