Born in Canada and raised in the Middle East, Alex Moshe named her solo project Folly Tree after waking from a dream about the Tree of Knowledge, whose fruit opened Eve’s eyes in the Garden of Eden. “I woke up and I knew,” says Alex. “What’s the opposite of the Tree of Knowledge? Something more intuitive, unjudgmental, celebrating foolishness.
