Joel, aka Mojo Rising, considers music to be an essential expression of the human condition. His earliest memories include listening to classical works on the family record player, while pretending to be a conductor. Grade school presented Joel the opportunity to play symphonic and jazz winds. Music production became an enduring aspiration after being introduced to MIDI, sampling, and synthesis.
