Sobre Birthmark
Birthmark started life around 1990. Original band members were Paul Touchet on vocals, Steve Burroughs on guitar, Matt Stroud on bass and Simon Smith on drums. They had a grungy sound, a hard-core version of the band they later became. This later version is showcased in The Darkest Flower album, a collection of recordings spanning the active years of the band. Simon left the band around 1992 and was replaced by Richie Jones (also of infamous trash rockers The Cannibals ).
