A South Korean pop singer and entertainer, Chae Yeon (real name: Chae Yeon Lee, born December 10, 1978) had to start her career in Japan as Jinny and part of two groups, Brand New Biscuits and UltraCats. She returned to Korea in 2003 and released her debut there, It's My Time. She had a few successful singles from the debut, but it was to be her 2004 follow up that would push her to the top.
