Sobre Mongo Shakers
Funk, rock, trip hop and prog studio-based outfit. Originally located in Shoreditch back in the early 90s. Founded by Matt Button and Chris Grayson who had started making music together in Late 88 in (you guessed it) the late 80s. Mongo Shakers created and worked from various different studios in Shoreditch until 2014 and grew to include like minded musicians and mates. Mongo has always combined live musical chops, sample-based trickery, studio wizardry with a huge sense of fun, adventure and energy. It’s entertaining music to make you laugh and cry.
