Sobre Simon Chivallon
A native of Bordeaux, Simon Chivallon taught himself to play the piano, before studying jazz and classical music at the Bordeaux conservatory. He then moved to Paris to study at the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt, then at the Centre Musical Didier Lockwood, where he studied with noted pianists Baptiste Trotignon, Bojan Z and Benoit Sourisse. The Paris clubs, jam sessions at the Duc des Lombards in particular, were the occasions to test himself against musicians such as the likes of Jon Boutellier, Gaël Horellou and Géraud Portal.
