Raised in small town Trenton, Illinois, Madison Mae began performing in local plays and musicals at the age of 8. She grew up listening to Country music and knew at a young age that she wanted to sing it. Inspired by artists like Carrie Underwood, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, and many more, Madison began to pursue her dreams. Upon moving to Nashville, Tennessee to attend college at Belmont University, Madison recorded her debut single, "Cupid's Got Bad Aim" at Off the Row studio in Franklin, Tennessee.
