97.Coast, born Ethan Smith is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer hailing from Philadelphia PA. Raised in households with a religious reverence for music he was exposed to a wide range of artists, sounds and genres which influenced his approach to creation. In 2014 under the pseudonym of IDL3, 97.Coast began to release some of his formative works on SoundCloud. Being self-taught, his creations were organic and unorthodox.
