Known under the artist name Nikoff, born June 6, 1988 to Congolese parents (DRC), French rapper Nikoff became known on the French rap scene in 2003, both with his group Double-m-mercury and solo. His first project, Futur sale, released in 2010, boasts heavy beats and a dirty flow, with self-aggrandizing lyrics. Taking inspiration from hardcore rappers like Mobb Deep, Tupac Shakur and EPMD, Nikoff's second project, In The Emergency Before Gunystick Tape (2011), set him in his city.
