Solid Blue The Solid Blue line-up got completed in 1990. The idea was to create a stripped down sound in the same style as Rock and Pubrock bands in the seventies, yet with an identity of their own. After a year of playing the local venues in Uppsala and the nearby area, the band won Rock SM (The Swedish Championship of Rock n Roll) in 1991. This meant the band got exposed on national television several times including the big final that was broadcasted in its entirety on SVT.
