El Jugador was best known as a four-piece alternative indie band from Ayrshire, Scotland, however, the band originally started out as an alternative, indie and hip hop music project. The early rendition of El Jugador was mostly a solo effort by Sir Fred, but it also featured various musicians and artists from around Ayrshire, including the popular hip hop act All Time High.
