DV8 is a hip-hop artist born and raised in Portsmouth, VA and currently residing in Jacksonville, FL. He is known for his intricate, skillful lyrics and unique song concepts. A lifelong hip-hop head, he began rapping in middle school, inspired by Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Souls of Mischief, and many more. He and long time friends and collaborators 1lankh and J.CO formed the group Verse Coast and recorded the album Loan Wolves in 2022.
