Born Moses Urena Jr., Sapphire is a progressive, multi-genre music artist. A house/trance producer, Sapphire has been making music since the fifth grade when he first picked up a clarinet. From there, he learned the saxophone, bass guitar, and double bass. While he spent years playing in jazz and symphonic bands, Sapphire discovered his true passion was electronic music production. As a teenager, he taught himself how to create music with a copy of FL Studio and has been unstoppable ever since. He switched to Ableton Live in 2013.
