Samoo was born in Turin in the '80s, raised in a family of musicians starting with the songwriter mother. He finishes fourth at the 2011 Mia Martini Award where he wins the Soul Voice Award with the song "Dormi". In March 2013 he joined the team of Riccardo Cocciante in The Voice Of Italy. In July 2013 he tackled the Lips’Aroma project, an influential rock band electronic, making an album between Turin and Los Angeles .
