Christophe Schweizer is an innovative trombonist, composer, arranger, producer and conductor. His interests connect Jazz, Classical, New and Experimental Music, Ethnic Music and Pop. Called “one of today’s greats on his instrument”, he was born in Switzerland on April 9, 1968. Very active on the Swiss scene in the late 80’s and following appearances at the Montreux and Zurich Festivals in 1991, he spent the 90’s in New York, playing with the Mingus Big Band, the George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band and many others.
