Sobre Tico y Aguabajo
In 2011 Tico Pierhagen started his Colombian Jazz, Funk and Cumbía quintet. The title of the first album of the band is named after a Colombian Rhythm: “Aguabajo”, which literal means falling water. Just like water, music flows and is moved by the rhythm. Tico is Born in Colombia and raised in Holland. Holland is the country which is constructed under the sea level so the name “Tico y Aguabajo” was obvious :-) With his music he creates the connection between his two worlds where he has grown up.
