A singer/songwriter from the south of Metro Manila, Philippines, chunick's musical career started as a guitarist with Submission, a 4-piece electropop band which was formed 2015. With tracks such as "Take My Hand" and "End This Way" which were included in several global playlists, Submission released a 5-track extended play (EP) called "Catharsis". An EP tour around Metro Manila with several known artists concluded the release.
