Kim Olsen

Kim Olsen started rapping at age 16 and was one of the first prominent local female rappers in the Singapore hip hop scene as a member of underground rap group Avant Garde. At 18, she was recruited to join hip hop group Urban Xchange. After being talent scouted from a Coca-Cola commercial, Urban Xchange moved on to become the first local band to sign with Universal Music and released an album in 2001. Shortly after, Kim moved on to focus on her own passion projects, collaborating with artists in Japan, USA and Singapore.
