Big West is the style-jumping project of Pittsburgh native Dan Westerlund, born from a coast-to-coast journey of reinvention. After moving west in 2017, Dan soaked in the sun, surf, and soul of California’s music scene before bringing it all back east. What started as a solo venture quickly evolved into a collaborative band with a sound that merges indie rock, surf rock, and reggae grooves.
