Nicaraguan Symphonic Progressive Metal young act: Excelsyum, born in 2012, is one of the very few bands of its genre in Central America. Influenced by great bands like Nightwish, Epica and Apocalyptica (bands to whom they pay tribute from time to time in Nicaragua), with 11 years of trajectory, they have built with solid effort a roller coaster of melodies, powerful riffs and profound lyrics condensed into a strong band with a lot of heart and enthusiasm.
